The Powder Application
Applying the powder coating to metal objects is done by spraying
the powder using an electrostatic gun.
The powder receives a positive electric charge, and is then
sprayed towards the object, which is grounded. Through the application of heat
and energy, the metal part attracts the powder like a magnet.
The technique of the electrostatic powder coating is based on the fact that opposite electrical charged particles attract each other. Therefore, most of the conducting or thermally resistant solid bodies are suitable for powder coating.

Technology
With the help of injectors, the afore fluid-like
coating powder will be pumped to the air gun, electrostatically charged by an
integrated high voltage generation and emitted in the direction of the object.
An electric field is generated between the earthed, normally conductible
workpiece and the air brush (?) gun. The powder particles follow and adhere to
the workpiece. Afterwards, the workpieces are transported into a dryer, in
which the plastics powder is melting with the workpiece and hardening at 160 to
200 ° Celsius. Since the powder coating method goes without solvents, this
technology is especially eco-friendly.
